Innovation is at the heart of Handwrytten. Our in-house engineers continually work to improve the speed, quality and reliability of the robot. This includes refinements to the paper feed, conveyor system, note identification, error handling, ink level and more.
Handwrytten has two patents (11,052,693 and 11,260,686) for the robot, covering handwriting robots in production environments. We have several additional patents pending, covering the internal motor controllers, custom paper feeds, AI-based QA systems, and more.
For security, the robots encrypt all content on the device. In case of theft, the robots are automatically disabled via IP address locking and other confidential means.
In addition to patentable technology, the Handwrytten robots have several convenience features, including autonomous operation (without the need to be connected to a computer) and automated Slack/Teams notifications of paper jams, job completion and low-ink alerts. With connectivity to third-party marking systems, our handwriting robots can visibly or invisibly mark notes for trackability and insertion. Using barcode scanning technology, the robots can ensure the correct cardstock is written on every time.
As Handwrytten has written the entire software stack, we are able to integrate the client’s metadata for tracking or cardstock assurance in custom install applications.
