How to Add a Custom Signature to Your Handwrytten Cards

A handwritten card already stands out. But when it ends with your custom signature? That’s when it feels truly personal.

Once completed, your signature will be stored in your account and available to use anytime.

Turnaround Time

  • Custom Signature: Ready within 1–7 business days after we receive your file.
  • Personalized Fonts: Typically completed within 1–4 weeks, depending on complexity.

You’ll receive an email via PandaDoc to review and approve your signature or font.
Once approved, it will be added to your Handwrytten account within 24 hours.

Start Sending

Once your signature is ready, you’re all set to use it. Whether you’re sending a single card or launching a large campaign, adding your signature is simple.

Step 1: Let’s Get Started

  • Visit handwrytten.com and log in.
  • Choose a card design.
  • Click Send to start your message.

Step 2: Add Your Signature

When your custom signature is available, a Signature dropdown will appear below the message box.

You can place your signature in two ways:

✍️ Left-Aligned (in message body)

  • Place your cursor below your sign-off (e.g., “Sincerely,”).
  • Select your signature from the dropdown.
  • It will appear as part of the message text.

📍 Bottom Right (floating signature)

  • Click inside the lower-right signature box.
  • Select your signature from the dropdown.
  • It will appear as a standalone mark, like a hand-signed note.

🔎 Pro Tip: Use the preview window to confirm signature placement before sending.


Managing Your Signature

To Remove It:

  • Open the Signature dropdown.
  • Select None.

To Switch Versions:

  • If you’ve uploaded multiple styles, simply select a different one from the dropdown.
